At a glance
You're whisking up a light meringue-based loaf cake packed with Haribo bears, dried fruit, chocolate, and nuts, then finishing it off with a silky chocolate glaze. The baking only takes 25 minutes, but the fun part is folding all those sweet treats into the batter without deflating the meringue β it's easier than it sounds. By the end, you'll have a festive, chocolatey loaf that's perfect for St. Nicholas Day or any time during the Christmas season.

Fold in the bears
Into the sweetened meringue, add the flour and melted butter alternately, a little at a time, folding gently after each addition so the meringue doesn't lose too much volume. Finely chop the fruit, Haribo bears, chocolate and nuts, then fold them into the batter, little by little.
