At a glance
You're brewing a tangy, fizzy fermented drink that takes just 10 minutes of active work but needs about 10–14 days of patience as the kombucha ferments at room temperature. The trickiest part is nailing the temperature—both when cooling the tea and during fermentation—and then finding your perfect day by tasting regularly, since everyone prefers different levels of sweetness and fizz.
