Chicken with Lemon and Oregano

Step-by-step method

Let’s cook

At a glance

This zesty lemon-oregano chicken is surprisingly simple to make—just mix up a vibrant marinade, let the chicken soak it in (ideally overnight, but even 2–3 hours works), and then throw it on the grill for about 20 minutes. The main thing to watch out for is the skin getting too dark, since keeping the skin on gives you that beautiful crispy texture that everyone loves.

About this recipe

Chicken is rightfully the star of any barbecue. On the grill it only needs a scant half hour, and you can already serve up something delicious. We definitely recommend grilling it with the skin on – it turns beautifully crispy. Just be careful not to burn it! Today's chicken comes with a lemon-oregano marinade. At our last barbecue, it was voted the best of everything we grilled.
