About this recipe

The star ingredient here is fresh spring nettle. When I was a child, I suffered from anemia, and my mum used to make me nettle juice to help. It was disgusting, but it worked! Luckily, I've got a much tastier recipe for you now. In spring, nettle can help you shake off that seasonal tiredness, since it's packed with vitamins and minerals - especially iron, and it's an iron deficiency that often leaves us feeling drained. If you make a nettle tincture, you can also use it on cuts and, above all, on burns.
