At a glance
These autumn crescent rolls start with a simple yeast dough that rises for an hour, then you'll roll it thin, cut it into triangles, and fill each one with fresh fruit or jam before rolling them into crescents. The filling possibilities are endless – plums, apples, jam with nuts, or cinnamon sugar – so you can mix and match to suit your mood. They bake up beautifully golden in about 20-25 minutes and are ready to dust with icing sugar and devour with your morning coffee.
