Dried Edible Flowers for Cakes and Desserts
Dried Edible Flowers for Cakes and Desserts
Our edible flowers are dried, so they don't wilt and they keep their colour. Rosebuds in three shades give a cake a bold accent. Pansies and daisies look like they came straight from a meadow. Scatter cornflower petals over a tart, a cheesecake or white buttercream. Rosebuds come in 20 g packs, whole flowers in packs of 15, cornflower petals in 6 g packs, and the damask rose and cornflower mix in 10 g packs.

Frequently asked questions
Are the flowers fresh or dried?
They're all dried: rosebuds, whole pansies, daisies and yellow daisies, and cornflower petals. They don't wilt and they keep their colour.
How far ahead can I put cornflower on a dessert?
According to the manufacturer, cornflower petals can go on as much as 48 hours before serving without drawing moisture from it.
Do I need to prepare the rosebuds?
Cut off the green stem at the base first, because it's bitter.
How should I store edible flowers?
Somewhere cool and dry, away from light. The manufacturer says they keep for up to three years, even once opened.
