This dessert gives one avocado two amazing personalities β creamy chocolate truffles and a tangy lime-wasabi cream that's surprisingly delicious together. The trickiest part is the chilling time (about 50 minutes total), but once everything's ready, rolling the truffles and toasting the nuts happens pretty quickly.

Avocado meets chocolate
First, blend the avocado until smooth. Melt the chocolate and mix it into half of the blended avocado. Add a pinch of salt and a little coconut oil to help the truffles hold their shape later. Chill in the fridge for at least 40 minutes.

Lime, wasabi and mint
To the second half of the avocado, add the juice of half a lime, some lime zest and a little honey. Stir in a small nub of wasabi paste and a few mint leaves, then blend everything thoroughly until smooth and creamy.

Toast the nuts and prep the fruit
Let the cream chill thoroughly in the fridge β it should be juicy, lightly sweet, with a subtle warmth from the wasabi. Toast the nuts in a pan, season with a little salt, then crush them. Crush the freeze-dried fruit into small pieces as well.
