At a glance
You're building this hearty dish in about 30 minutes by sautéing cabbage, mushrooms, and smoked meat, then mixing everything with pre-cooked pasta and baking it with an egg topping. The trickiest part is timing the egg pour just right so it sets perfectly without overcooking the whole dish.

Sauté the base
Finely chop the onion and cut the fresh cabbage into smaller pieces as well. Sauté them together in a little oil, then after a few minutes add the sliced mushrooms and chopped smoked meat.
