Honey Cake Balls - Last-Minute Christmas Treats

·
6 servings
  1. Making the biscuits

Mix the flour with the baking soda. Add the remaining dough ingredients. Work into a firm, non-sticky dough. Shape it into flat biscuits - they don't need to look pretty at all.

  2. Baking

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

  3. Making the filling

Let the butter soften, then mix it with the caramel condensed milk.

  4. Blitzing

Break up the cooled biscuits and blitz them finely in a food processor. Set some aside for coating the balls later.

  5. Mixing the dough

Combine the filling with the crumbs and work into a mixture for the balls. Chill it in the fridge for two hours - this will make shaping the balls much easier.

  6. Shaping

    Shaping

Roll the mixture into balls and coat them in the remaining crumbs.

  7. You're done!
