Baked Figs with Goat Cheese, Walnuts and Honey

·
4 servings
  1. Slice the figs

Cut ripe figs from the top in a cross shape (don't cut all the way through, so they stay in one piece) and place them in a baking dish.

  2. Fill the figs

Using a teaspoon, fill each fig with goat cheese (about half to 3/4 of a teaspoon fit in mine).

  3. Season and top

Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and drizzle with honey.

  4. Bake

Bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 8 minutes. Once the figs start to darken slightly at the edges and release their juices, it's time to take them out.

  5. Serving tip

    Serving tip

Serve as a starter with a glass of good red wine.

  6. You're done!

    Enjoy your meal!
