Foolproof Bubble Cake

  1. Mix everything together

    Combine all the batter ingredients.

  2. Add the fruit and crumble

    Pour the batter onto a baking tray and spread it out evenly, then top with strawberries and sprinkle over the crumble and chopped almonds. Feel free to use any fruit you like on top, or combine it with curd cheese, poppy seeds, jam... the variations are endless.

  3. Bake

    Bake at 200°C until nicely golden.

  4. You're done!
