PME is one of the world's leading makers of cake decorating tools, and it shows in every tip they make. Crafted from quality stainless steel and drawn from a single piece with no seam, this detail matters more than it might seem: a seam on cheap tips distorts the shape of the icing and traps residue in the groove that's hard to clean out. Seamless construction means sharp, clean detail and a flower that comes out looking exactly as it should.
JEM Drop Flower #1F Piping Tip (Large Flowers)
What you can decorate with it
The Drop Flower tip isn't just for cupcakes. Its big blooms look fantastic arranged in a wreath around the edge of a cake, filling gaps between larger decorations, or scattered over dessert cups and sheet cake squares. Try them on cookies, mini cakes, or along the edge of a roll cake too. Pipe with two or more shades of icing in the same bag and every flower comes out slightly different — natural-looking blooms with zero extra effort.
Cleaning and care
Wash the tip by hand in warm water with a bit of dish soap, ideally right after use before the icing dries on. A small piping tip brush or an old toothbrush works well for getting into the groove and cleaning the tip inside. Skip the dishwasher — harsh detergent tablets can dull stainless steel over time. Let it dry completely before storing so it stays shiny and spot-free. Treated this way, a good quality tip will last you for years.

Big flowers with one squeeze — perfect for cupcakes and cakes alike.
The Drop Flower #1F tip lets you pipe a large, plump flower with just one squeeze of your piping bag. Hold the tip straight against the icing, squeeze, lift — and the flower is done. No spirals to draw, no tricky techniques to master: just a few simple motions and a whole tray of cupcakes is decorated. Thanks to its larger size, it's also great for creating clusters of flowers on cakes.
