FunCakes Cherry Flavouring Paste for Creams and Batters (120 g)

What's actually in the jar, and where to use it

Inside you'll find a thick paste made with a full thirty percent real cherries. That's what gives it its natural colour and full-bodied flavour, instead of an artificial, chemical aftertaste. It's completely vegan, so you can happily serve it to guests on a plant-based diet too. The paste blends beautifully into buttercream, cream cheese fillings, homemade ice cream, and chocolate ganache. You're simply adding concentrated flavour while leaving your cream's texture untouched.

Dosage and tips for getting the balance just right

Getting the amount right is always the tricky part. The basic recommendation is thirty grams of paste per half a kilo of cream or batter. From experience though, I'd suggest building it up gradually. Add a teaspoon, mix, and taste. Every base cream reacts differently, and what's enough for a light whipped cream might not be enough in a dense buttercream base. Flavouring is a process, so add it bit by bit until you hit exactly the cherry note you're going for.

A thick, fruit-flecked paste that gives your creams and baked sponges a full cherry flavour without watering down the texture.

You know that feeling when you try to get real fruit flavour into buttercream, but the juice from fresh fruit just breaks it down and waters it out? With this thick paste, you get an intense cherry profile exactly where you need it, while your dessert's structure stays firm. Save yourself the stress while whipping, and get that proper fruity depth every time, whether you're finishing off a weekend cake or mixing up a macaron filling.
